Private Aviation International Declarations
Important Warning
From 25 February 2026 UKBF will enforce the ‘permission to travel’ system. The Manifest6 apps currently available on Apple store and Microsoft Store and Android are versions which simulate this system and send a UKBF Gar but are NOT yet live. They should NOT be used to send a real declaration They are only for testing. We expect the live apps to be published in weeks.
What is MyGar?
MyGar is an app for private pilots to create and submit international GAR/Gendec declarations. It replaces the old OnlineGar website and runs entirely on your device for better security. It has evolved from other developments and consequently can be referred to as or named Manifest6/PPRPal – we will consolidate shortly but for now they refer to the same system.
Join other international private pilots who rely on us
My GAR / Gendec is a practical tool for General Aviation pilots who travel internationally and need to file multiple customs and police declarations. With a straightforward interface and end‑to‑end documentation support, the app simplifies your international journey.
Registered members can access the app downloads for their preferred platform.
About OnlineGar and the move to apps
OnlineGar.com was a web‑based personal cloud system. With so few users valuing that model, it has become necessary to move to an app‑based approach.
This means you no longer pass your confidential GARs or Gendecs through an account on a server. Everything now runs directly on your own device.
You can still store your submissions, but you use your own private cloud service — Dropbox, OneDrive, iCloud, Google Drive, etc. You get all the functionality of the old OnlineGar system.
The apps are free to use and the security of your data is entirely under your control.
This means you don’t pass your confidential ‘Gars’ or ‘Gendecs’ through your account on a server. You run everything from your own device.
How to get started ?
To use the apps in place of OnlineGAR.com you must register here as a member. Once a ‘member’ you will be able to see the download links. Download an app for whatever device/platform you prefer.
The username and password you create here must be entered on the app to allow GAR submissions to UK.
*GAR = General Aviation Report //Gendec = general declaration
*declarations which are necessary paperwork for border crossing when travelling privately
How to get the OnlineGar/MyGar.net app
There are versions of the app for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS (iPads and iPhones).
Registered members can access the download links for all platforms once logged in.
The Mac/iOS versions are available through the Apple Store, and the Windows version is available through the Microsoft Store. The Android version is provided directly to members here on MyGar.net, but there are also links in members area which will take you directly to the apps on Apple Store and Microsoft store
About the app
For over a decade, OnlineGar.com has provided a way to submit GARs (General Aviation Reports) to the British Government for private flights entering and leaving the UK. However, maintaining a web‑server‑based system has become increasingly impractical.
With the introduction of the UKBF “permission to travel” scheme, a traditional server model is no longer workable. This is why OnlineGar is moving to an app‑based approach.
All of your data remains secure. Instead of being stored on third‑party servers, the apps use your own cloud storage service — Dropbox, OneDrive, iCloud, Google Drive, etc. This removes server costs, improves privacy, and gives you full control over your information.
The new app model also offers more complete end‑to‑end documentation, including forms for various countries at your destination.
We realise that changing long‑established habits is difficult. All we ask is that you install the app and give it a try.
Apart from producing documentation for other jurisdictions, you really only have one login. Once you are set up with a MyGar user registration (and we never touch your ID except for forgotten passwords and similar issues), you will not need to log in separately to the UK..

International editions
MyGar.net / OnlineGar apps are currently focused on Europe, but we welcome cooperation from anyone interested in using the technology in other regions.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is MyGar /OnlineGar about?
Well – a little more than a decade ago all you had to do was ‘fax’ your arrival details (what craft, what journey trip, and crew manifest.) Well fax is probably not well remembered and more and more demands for information have been made. The first change a few years ago was the demand for ‘exit’ information. Actually various EU countries were in the lead on this. So it boils down to ‘declare yourself – in and out’, OnlineGar kept up with this but now the permission to travel system is about to happen we need a new approach
How much does MyGar /OnlineGAR app cost?
In truth, it represents thousands of hours of work. The move to an app‑based model avoids the high cost of running secure private servers when only a small number of users need them or value them highly enough.
Your data now lives in your own cloud storage (iCloud, Dropbox, Drive, etc.), which keeps costs down — but it isn’t completely free to run.
If anyone wishes to donate or knows a commercial operator willing to sponsor the project, even a modest contribution would help keep it going long‑term. But for now it is free to become a member and use the apps.
When will Mygar.net OnlineGar apps be released?
.Prototype apps have been available for testing for some time. UKBF is driving the timetable with the introduction of the permission to travel requirement.
If a commander cannot comply, they may face fines of up to £5,000. The deadline is 25 February 2026, and we aim to have the live apps ready before then.
